Sunitha Outlines Rayalaseema Horticulture Hub and Regional Works
Paritala Sunitha spoke to farmers in Gangulukunta about plans to grow more horticulture in Rayalaseema.
The plan aims to invest Rs 1 lakh crore and expand horticulture by 2030.
She said the government has set aside money for irrigation and horticulture.
She warned farmers not to buy fake seeds or poor-quality seedlings.
She also told them to ask for official receipts and advised them to rotate crops.
Sunitha began work on a new road to Gangulukunta.
She said water would be supplied to the village tank from Gondireddypalli next year.
She also described other planned or funded regional projects, including bridges, a park, and temple development.
Paritala Sunitha said the Rayalaseema Global Horticulture Hub would bring major changes to horticulture.
Plans call for investing Rs 1 lakh crore and expanding horticulture to 14.41 lakh hectares by 2030.
She said the alliance government allocated Rs 20,884 crore for irrigation and Rs 15,000 crore for horticulture.
Sunitha advised farmers to avoid counterfeit seeds and substandard seedlings, seek receipts, and rotate crops.
She launched a Rs 1.20 crore CC road project and promised water for Gangulukunta tank from Gondireddypalli next year.
