IPS Officers’ Wives Support Handloom Artisans Through Exhibition
The IPS Officers’ Wives Association held an exhibition to help handloom weavers and artisans.
It took place at the Police Officers’ Mess in Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
Artisans from Telangana and other parts of India brought their traditional products.
Visitors saw sarees and fabrics from places such as Narayanpet, Gadwal and Pochampally.

Lalitha Anand said weavers have protected their skills for many generations.
She said meeting customers directly could help artisans find more buyers.
