Indian Silk Gallery Expo Showcases Handloom Traditions in Vijayawada

An exhibition about Indian silk and handloom products has opened in Vijayawada.

Gadde Anuradha inaugurated it by lighting a lamp.

Artisans from 14 states are showing their work there.

Each region has its own special weaving styles and designs.

Visitors can see sarees such as Banarasi silk, Rajkot Patola and Pochampally Ikat.

The products also include dress materials and other items.

The expo is open from September 16 to 21, from 10:30 a.m.

to 8 p.m.

It gives artisans a place to share their traditional skills and sell their products.
