India Explores Global Entity Locker Integration With Russia, EU
Exclusive: To Take Business Wallet Global, India In Talks With Russia, EU · NDTV

India has a digital wallet called Entity Locker for businesses and organisations.

It can store important documents such as bank records, guarantees and safety certificates.

The government is talking with Russia, the European Union and Singapore about connecting their systems.

This could let companies share trusted documents electronically across borders.

The receiving organisation could check that a document really came from an approved source.

Businesses might no longer need to send the same paper or scanned copies many times.

This may especially help exporters, startups and smaller companies.

The plan is still being discussed and is not yet a finished international system.
