Six Apprehended With ₹27.288 Crore Narcotics In Barak Operation

Six suspected smugglers were apprehended during a midnight interception in Jiribam’s Tupidhar area.
Assam Rifles and Boro Bekra Police seized 90,000 Yaba tablets weighing 9.414 kilograms.
The Yaba tablets were valued at approximately ₹27 crore.
The team also recovered 48 grams of heroin worth ₹28.80 lakh.
Six mobile phones, four side bags and the suspected transport boat were seized, and the suspects were handed over for investigation under the NDPS Act.
