Haryana moving ahead with resolve of 'Viksit Bharat-Viksit Haryana': Saini
India celebrates Independence Day every year to remember the day it became a free country.
This year, people celebrated the 80th Independence Day.
In a town called Hansi, the leader of Haryana state raised the Indian flag.
His name is Nayab Singh Saini, and he is the Chief Minister of Haryana.
He told everyone that Hansi has become a new district, and the government is adding jobs to help run it.
He also said many promises made to the people before elections have been kept.
Young people have been getting government jobs, and farmers are getting fair prices for their crops.
Women are also getting money each month to help their families.
The Chief Minister said sportspersons from Haryana won many medals in big games.
He asked everyone to work hard together to build a strong and developed Haryana and India.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini unfurled the national flag in Hansi on the 80th Independence Day.
Saini said Hansi has become Haryana's 23rd district, with 471 posts sanctioned for smooth administration.
Of 217 election-manifesto 'Sankalps', 70 have been fulfilled and work is ongoing on 147.
Over two lakh youth have received government jobs in nearly 12 years, including nine through employment guarantee certificates in Hansi.
Saini honoured boxer Narender Berwal and noted Haryana athletes won 10 medals, including seven gold, at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games.
