EPSRR and Axton Capital Partner to Develop F&B Concepts in Sri Lanka and Oman · theprint.in

EPSRR is an Indian company that develops food and drink businesses.

Axton Capital is an investment company connected to the United Kingdom and Sri Lanka.

The two companies signed an agreement called a Memorandum of Understanding.

They want to create and grow restaurants, cafes, and other food businesses in Sri Lanka and Oman.

Their first focus will be Colombo and Muscat.

Axton’s subsidiary, J M Robertson, already operates Department of Coffee cafes in both countries.

This existing business may help the new partnership begin more easily.

The companies may later expand to other countries and markets.

Quotes

Riyas Kalliyath

Chairman of EPSRR and Club Sulaimani

“With roots going back to 1845 and more than 180 years in the trade, J M Robertson has deep operating experience across Sri Lanka and Oman, including our own Department of Coffee cafes in both markets. That gives EPSRR a genuine running start rather than a standing one. We are pleased to bring our platform and local knowledge to concepts with the character and track record of EPSRR, and we look forward to building this partnership across both markets and beyond.”
