Anurag Maloo Survived 72 Hours Trapped In Annapurna Crevasse

Anurag Maloo was climbing Annapurna in Nepal when his rope broke during the descent.

He fell into a deep crack in the mountain called a crevasse.

He was very high up, where it was extremely cold.

He had no food, water or cellphone.

Maloo stayed there for about three days and was found on the fourth day.

The rescuers thought they were carrying away a dead person.

Then they saw his chest move and realized he was alive.

Doctors performed CPR for four hours and five minutes, and he eventually opened his eyes.

Maloo now says both India and Nepal feel like home to him.
