New executive body elected for Arekatike Samaj

A group called the All India Arekatike Samaj chose new leaders for their Anantapur district office.

The election happened on Monday at the Press Club in Anantapur town.

The state president, Katike Sai Prasad, led the election.

Many community members from different districts came to take part.

After the election, Sai Prasad made some requests to the state government.

He asked the government to help the community grow and develop.

He also asked the government to change the community's official category from BC-D to the ST list.

Finally, he asked for more political seats for community members in upcoming local body elections.
