Telangana ACB Seizes ₹1.35 Crore in Fresh Cop Case
Officials in Telangana are investigating suspended police officer Sankireddy Bheem Reddy.
They suspect he may have assets worth much more than his known income.
The Anti-Corruption Bureau searched 10 more places connected to the case.
At one house, officials found ₹1.35 crore in cash.
They also found foreign money and foreign liquor.
Earlier searches found gold, silver, money and property records.
Bheem Reddy was arrested on July 6 after the first searches.
The Enforcement Directorate is conducting a separate money-laundering investigation.
The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau searched 10 additional locations in Hyderabad and Zaheerabad linked to suspended DSP Sankireddy Bheem Reddy.
The searches are part of a disproportionate-assets case involving assets estimated at around ₹300 crore.
Officials seized ₹1.35 crore in cash, foreign currency and about 14 litres of foreign liquor from Bomma Venkatesh’s house.
Earlier searches reportedly found gold, silver, cash, bank balances and properties linked to Bheem Reddy, relatives, associates and alleged benamidars.
The Enforcement Directorate has separately begun a money-laundering investigation.
