Kolkata Metro Adds Weekend Services Ahead of Durga Puja
Kolkata Metro is adding more train services before Durga Puja.
The extra trains are meant to help commuters.
They will run on the Blue and Green Lines.
The additional services will operate on October 3, 4, 10 and 11.
Saturdays will have more trains than usual on both lines.
Sundays will also have more trains than usual.
The first and last train times will not change.
This means passengers will have more trains during the day without a change to the daily operating hours.
Kolkata Metro will operate additional weekend services before Durga Puja.
Extra services will run on the Blue and Green Lines on October 3, 4, 10 and 11.
On Saturdays, Blue Line services will rise from 252 to 272.
On Saturdays, Green Line services will increase from 212 to 236.
On Sundays, Blue Line services will rise from 152 to 188, while Green Line services will increase from 111 to 125.
