Bengal Announces Puja Parikrama Buses From September 17
West Bengal plans special transport services for people visiting Durga Puja celebrations.
These services will run from September 17 to 21.
People will be able to use buses, trams and boats to visit important Puja locations.
Some routes will show heritage homes, known as bonedi baris, that hold traditional celebrations.
Special routes will connect Kolkata with places such as Barasat, Howrah and Barrackpore.
Some travel packages will include food.
A tram trip with snacks and tea or coffee will cost adults Rs 800.
The department is also planning to add 300 buses before the festival.
