J&K Deputy CM's convoy vehicle kills Bihar labourer in Jammu

The accident occurred around 9:05 pm on Saturday, August 8, while the convoy was returning after dropping Choudhary at his residence in Kunjwani; the Deputy CM was not in the vehicle involved.
The victim was crossing the road when struck and was rushed to Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital in Jammu, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation, while concerns have been raised over VIP convoy speed and road safety; the Deputy CM had not commented as of latest reports.
