More voters chose candidates early in Brazil’s 2026 election

More Brazilian voters decided who to support at least a month before the 2026 election.

The increase compared with 2022 was seen in races for governor, senator and lawmakers.

For president, the share choosing early rose slightly, within the survey’s margin of error.

Fewer voters left their choice until the day before or the day of the election.

The survey asked 2,520 people in 153 cities.
