Gambhir calls for more balanced pitches after India’s loss in Ranchi

West Indies chased 250 to beat India in a high-scoring T20 match in Ranchi.

India coach Gautam Gambhir said pitches should give bowlers a better chance, not just help batters hit runs.

He also said India must learn to defend big scores, even when conditions are difficult.

A fairer balance could make matches more competitive and help protect bowlers’ careers.
