Sharon Osbourne says she wanted Megadeth on Black Sabbath farewell bill
Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne held their Back to the Beginning farewell show in 2025 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England.
Sharon Osbourne said she really wanted Megadeth on the bill, but the event could not fit every band into one day.
The 10-hour concert featured acts including Metallica, Guns N' Roses, Slayer and Pantera.
Megadeth was the only member of thrash metal’s so-called Big Four that did not perform.
Sharon also praised musical director Tom Morello and promoter Andy Copping for helping put the show together.
A concert film is coming to theaters in 2026, with 30 performances included in its final cut.
