Netanyahu condemns Houthi attack on Riyadh airport that killed 12
A Houthi missile struck King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday, killing at least 12 people and injuring more than 300.
The dead included people from several countries, among them four Saudi citizens.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the attack and offered condolences to the victims’ families.
The Houthis are fighting Yemen’s internationally recognized government, which Saudi Arabia supports.
The attack came after the Houthis captured parts of Yemen’s Red Sea coastline in a major offensive last month.
It was described as the deadliest attack on Saudi soil in more than a decade and a sharp escalation in the Yemen war.
The airport terminal was closed after the strike, and another attack was reported there on Sunday evening.
