São Paulo prosecutors archive complaint over contracts involving Pavanato and Holiday
São Paulo prosecutors have archived a complaint about consulting contracts involving elected federal deputy Lucas Pavanato and former city council member Fernando Holiday.
Holiday is Pavanato’s political mentor.
The complaint alleged that Pavanato’s city council office paid Holiday’s consulting firm 20,000 reais a month, and questioned whether the firm could do the work.
It also pointed to earlier contracts in which Holiday’s office hired a consultancy belonging to Pavanato.
Both men gave prosecutors documents, including contracts, invoices and records of work produced.
Prosecutors concluded that the consulting, political marketing and digital content services had been delivered and found no evidence of a sham company or unpaid-for work.
The complaint has now been archived, and no further steps are described.
