Piano concert held 61 metres underground in Bendigo gold mine

A 300kg piano was taken 61 metres underground for a concert in Bendigo.

Pianists Yasmin Rowe and Ian Munro played to 60 people in the old Central Deborah Gold Mine.

The event marked 175 years since gold was discovered in the city.

Organisers said they could find no evidence of another concert like it.
