M5 Max Mac Studio gets a $200 price cut as M5 Ultra nears

The M5 Max Mac Studio is now $200 cheaper at one retailer.

Apple is expected to ship a more powerful M5 Ultra model with 512GB of memory in late October.

The M5 Max costs much less and may suit many creative professionals.

People who need to run very large AI models locally may want the Ultra instead.
