GoTo shareholders to consider capital reduction and deputy CEO’s resignation

GoTo, an Indonesian technology company, plans to hold an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting on Oct.

14, 2026.

Shareholders will consider cancelling 32,186,417,803 Series A treasury shares, which GoTo bought back between June 12, 2024, and June 11, 2025.

Cancelling the shares would reduce the company’s issued and paid-up capital and requires shareholder approval.

GoTo had earlier planned to use the bought-back shares for employee and management share ownership programs.

It later cancelled that plan, citing market conditions, the company’s interests and benefits for shareholders.

The meeting will also consider deputy CEO Catherine Hindra’s resignation; the company received her resignation letter on Aug.

28, 2026.

The meeting’s decisions will determine whether the share cancellation and resignation are approved.
