Callum Smith to challenge Dmitry Bivol for three light-heavyweight titles

Callum Smith will challenge Dmitry Bivol for three light-heavyweight world titles on 12 December in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

Bivol will be fighting at home, while Smith travels from Liverpool for the bout.

The titles at stake are the IBF, WBA and WBO belts.

Smith is a former super-middleweight champion who won an interim light-heavyweight title by beating Joshua Buatsi in February 2025.

He has not fought since that win, and has lost only to Artur Beterbiev and Canelo Alvarez.

Bivol is a former undisputed champion whose only career loss was a narrow decision defeat to Beterbiev in 2024.

The fight will take place one day after Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury meet in Cardiff, and will close the Yekaterinburg card.
