Sam Holloway leaves WWE ID program after two years

Sam “Hardway” Holloway has announced that he is no longer part of WWE ID.

The 26-year-old wrestler joined the program in 2024, after beginning his in-ring career in 2022.

WWE ID provides financial and other support to independent wrestlers, but its deals are not full-time contracts.

The program can also offer a potential path to a full-time signing with NXT, and participants may compete on WWE Evolve.

Marcus Mathers and Laynie Luck have also announced departures in the past week, while Monica Monroe, Josiah Jean and Conan Lycan have joined.

Holloway says he is grateful for his experience and plans to continue working, but no specific next step was announced.
