Kyrgyzstan displays horse-meat sausage more than 120 metres long
A horse-meat sausage more than 120 metres long was displayed in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
It was made with horse meat and fat using traditional methods and was shared with guests after it was measured.
The display took place during celebrations for the 100th anniversary of the Chuy region.
Organizers said they plan to try to have the sausage entered in the Guinness World Records.
The event also featured food, dances and games from different ethnic communities living in Chuy, as well as products made in the region.
President Sadyr Japarov attended the anniversary celebrations and said Chuy’s role as a centre for the country should continue to grow.
The celebrations ended with a concert and fireworks.
