Western Kenya is a key route for marijuana trafficking in Kenya

Kenya’s marijuana market is growing.

Much of the supply moves through Western Kenya, especially along the Busia-Nairobi corridor.

This route matters because it is a repeated path for drug trafficking.

Police have also reported traffickers changing routes to evade arrest.
