Drone strike on displaced people’s camp in Sudan kills 41, rights group says
Emergency Lawyers says a drone strike by Sudan’s Rapid Support Forces, or RSF, killed 41 people on Friday.
It struck a camp for displaced people in Abu Shandi, in Blue Nile state near the Ethiopian border.
The UN humanitarian office said initial reports indicated that most of those killed were women and children.
Sudan’s army and the RSF have been fighting over power since 2023.
