China seeks public feedback on revised rules for public investment funds

China’s securities regulator has published draft changes to rules for publicly offered investment funds and is asking the public for feedback.

The changes would strengthen fund managers’ responsibilities and adjust how funds can invest and operate.

They also aim to support more stock-focused funds and make some rules more flexible.

The proposals are not yet final.
