The Wombats announce 2027 tour marking 20 years of debut album
The Wombats have announced a UK and European tour in April 2027 to mark 20 years since their debut album, ‘A Guide To Love, Loss & Desperation’.
The album was released in 2007 and includes songs such as ‘Let’s Dance to Joy Division’ and ‘Moving to New York’.
The tour starts in Paris on April 1, then visits five other European cities before four UK shows in Manchester, Glasgow, London and Liverpool.
At each show, the band will play the debut album from start to finish in the first half.
They will play songs from their later albums in the second half.
The album helped launch the band’s career, and it has sold more than 400,000 copies in the UK.
Tickets go on sale on October 16, with pre-sale options opening on October 14.
