Guerrero reports no deaths as power restored to 90% after Hurricane Simon

Hurricane Simon brought heavy rain, flooding and damage to parts of Guerrero.

Authorities reported no deaths or missing people, and opened 34 shelters as a precaution, though none had been used.

The storm affected more than 65,000 electricity customers, and power had been restored to about 90%.

Crews remained on alert as more heavy rain was forecast.
