Paris student union leader says high school protests are not losing momentum

A student union representative in Paris says high school students are still motivated to protest.

The government said the protests had slowed, noting that 141 schools were closed on Friday, down from 157 the day before.

The representative said there was no protest call for Friday and that demonstrations were shifting to more traditional marches.

He expects a large protest on Tuesday and called on workers and others to join.
