Turkey opens student grant and loan applications for 2026-27
Turkey has opened grant and loan applications for the 2026-27 academic year.
The scheme is run by the Youth and Sports Ministry and is open to Turkish citizens studying abroad as well as students in higher education in Turkey.
Eligible applicants include students newly admitted to a higher education program and those already studying in later years.
Applications must be submitted through the e-Devlet online system by October 16 at 23:59.
Students can also update their application details through that date.
Incorrect or incomplete education details can invalidate an application, so students should ask their university’s student affairs office to correct any errors.
Applicants who need help can contact the ministry’s 24-hour ALO GSB helpline or its KYK support account on X.
