Coulibaly’s Wizards role uncertain as team aims to compete

Coulibaly started for the Wizards in each of the past two seasons, when the team was not focused on winning.

Now Washington wants to be more competitive, and he came off the bench in its preseason opener.

His defense is considered a strength, but his offense is still developing.

That could affect how much the team offers him in an extension.
