Andreeva’s run to the China Open final will lift her to No.

3 in the world rankings.

She is the youngest player to reach the top three since Maria Sharapova did so in 2005.

Winning the final would give Andreeva more ranking points and narrow the gap to No.

2 Aryna Sabalenka.

She has also qualified for the season-ending WTA Finals.
