Rail services disrupted between Arnhem and Utrecht from 20 to 31 October

From 20 to 31 October, train services will be disrupted on parts of the Arnhem-Utrecht route in the Netherlands.

ProRail is repairing the railway and building a new underpass near Wolfheze station.

The closures will happen in two stages: first between Driebergen-Zeist and Arnhem Centraal and Rhenen, then between Arnhem Centraal and Ede-Wageningen.

NS will run replacement buses, but expects them to be very busy, so passengers are advised to travel by train on alternative routes where possible.

People travelling to Utrecht are advised to go via 's-Hertogenbosch, while those heading to Amsterdam or beyond are advised to travel via Deventer.

ProRail plans to install the underpass overnight on 24-25 October, and will also rebuild Wolfheze station's square to make it easier to use for people with limited mobility.
