New rail line expected to cut Istanbul-Kapıkule journey to 90 minutes
Turkey has opened a section of a new high-speed railway in the northwest.
When the full Halkalı-Kapıkule route is in service, the passenger journey is expected to take 90 minutes instead of four hours.
The line is also expected to carry more passengers and goods.
Faster rail links could help businesses move products to European markets.
