Ali Kasım Tuna seeks to lead Istanbul No. 2 Bar Association
Ali Kasım Tuna is a candidate for president of Istanbul No.
2 Bar Association in Istanbul.
He spoke at the bar’s general assembly at Istanbul University’s Faculty of Law and presented his goals.
He said his main aim is to increase the bar’s membership to 7,000.
Tuna also said he would represent all members, including those who support other candidates.
He linked lawyers’ ability to work with confidence to a strong legal profession and rule of law.
The election for the bar’s president and management is scheduled for 09:00 at the Faculty of Law.
