Guangzhou’s six advanced manufacturing sectors exceed 1 trillion yuan in scale

Guangzhou says its six advanced manufacturing sectors are now worth more than 1 trillion yuan combined.

They include vehicles, marine industries, aviation, semiconductors, displays and pharmaceuticals.

The city plans to expand these industries and expects its total industrial output to exceed 3 trillion yuan by 2030.

This shows how Guangzhou hopes to build more of its economy around advanced manufacturing.
