Andrew Balding extends lead in Flat trainers’ championship

Balding moved further ahead in the race to be Britain’s top Flat trainer.

His horses won two races, including the Challenge Stakes, while O’Brien’s runner finished second in the Fillies’ Mile.

The title race is not settled, and Champions Day at Ascot next weekend could change the standings.

Balding says he will wait until after that meeting before getting excited.
