Documentary traces three decades with Perth rock band Jebediah
Jebediah is a four-member alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia.
The group formed around four friends and is known for songs including “Leaving Home,” “Harpoon” and “She’s Like a Comet.”
A new documentary, “Jebediah: Are We OK?”, follows the band across 11 years of filming and looks at its 30-year history.
Director Arlo Dean Cook began filming during the band’s 20-year anniversary tour in 2015, then saw the project grow into a story about the members’ close relationships.
The film also follows changes around the band, including Cook stepping in to play guitar for 15 shows and two tours.
The documentary offers younger viewers a look at Australian alternative rock culture from the 1990s and early 2000s.
The film has reached screens.
