Megalopolis returns to US cinemas for a second re-release

Megalopolis, Francis Ford Coppola’s 2024 film, is returning to cinemas in the United States on October 24.

The screenings will be at cinemas owned by Reading International.

After the film, Coppola and his son Roman, who worked as its second unit director, will take part in a livestreamed question-and-answer session.

Audience members can send in questions by text before, during or after the movie.

The film follows architect Cesar Catilina, played by Adam Driver, who wants to build a utopia in the city of New Rome.

Critics were divided when it was released, and few audience members saw it.

The film is expected to return to cinemas periodically, including on New Year’s Day.
