Two more people die in second prison fight in Mazatlán
Two prisoners died in a fight inside El Castillo prison in Mazatlán, in Mexico’s Sinaloa state, on Friday, October 9.
It was the second fight at the prison in less than 24 hours.
The fight on Thursday killed 10 people and injured 16; one of the dead was a two-year-old child visiting the prison.
Authorities say they brought Friday’s situation under control and that the other prisoners are safe.
