Instagram says Creed’s “Higher” was recommended to more users than planned

Many Instagram users said the app kept suggesting the song “Higher” by Creed for their posts.

Instagram confirmed that the song was recommended to more people than planned.

It did not say what caused the problem and said it was investigating.

The case shows that recommendations can sometimes reach users more widely than intended.
