Gambhir backs India bowlers after West Indies chase 250 in Ranchi

India scored 249 runs, but the West Indies still chased down the target in Ranchi.

Coach Gautam Gambhir said the flat pitch and dew made it hard for bowlers to stop the batters.

He argued that cricket is better when batters and bowlers have a more even contest.

The series is level at 1-1.
