JetBio plans renewable diesel production at a $2 billion plant in Brazil

The planned plant will use ethanol made from corn to produce renewable diesel or sustainable aviation fuel.

JetBio says it can switch between the two, allowing it to respond to demand.

The plant could process up to 1.8 billion liters of ethanol a year and may cost up to $2 billion.

The project could create a major new buyer for Brazilian ethanol.
