Hundreds apply to move from Ukrainian-held cities to Donetsk

A program is inviting residents of Ukrainian-controlled cities in the Donetsk region to move to Donetsk.

Its head says several hundred people have applied so far.

Participants are promised priority for compensation apartments or help restoring housing.

The program matters because it offers housing support to people considering leaving their homes.
