Skate Developer Plans Official Creation Tools After ReSkate Takes Off

ReSkate is a fan-made platform for Skate, a free-to-play game from developer Full Circle.

Released about a week ago, it lets players play offline, run private servers and make custom maps.

It has been downloaded more than 350,000 times.

Full Circle says it supports player creativity but objects to tools that unlock paid cosmetics, release restricted content or make money from unauthorized assets.

The developer says it is building official tools to give players more ways to create and plans to share more details later.

ReSkate’s creators say they made it because they love the game and are prepared to take it down if EA’s lawyers contact them.

Full Circle has not said it plans to shut down ReSkate.
