Flu season starts early in Canada as cases rise
Flu season has started earlier than usual in Canada, and cases are rising.
The strain causing most cases so far is H1N1, which one expert says is often linked to less severe illness than H3N2.
Two flu deaths have been reported so far.
Flu and COVID-19 shots are being offered to some high-risk groups, with wider access expected by mid-October.
