Céline Amaudruz lists an IMD MBA, but completed its Executive MBA
Céline Amaudruz is a Swiss National Council member from the Geneva branch of the SVP party and a possible successor to Guy Parmelin in the Federal Council.
Her LinkedIn profile lists an MBA from IMD, a management school in Lausanne.
A certificate available through her profile says she received the MBA title with honours in 2019.
But she completed IMD’s Executive MBA, a program designed to fit around work, rather than its one-year full-time MBA.
The profile uses “MBA” without the “E” that distinguishes the Executive MBA.
The story says this could give the impression that she took the full-time course, while noting that her degree does entitle her to use the MBA title.
It is not known whether UBS, where she worked until autumn 2019, paid for her Executive MBA, and IMD and Amaudruz had not responded to questions.

The article says the Executive MBA runs for 18 to 24 months, while IMD’s full-time MBA lasts one year.

Neither Amaudruz nor IMD had responded to questions at the time of publication.
