BabyMonster to release new single ‘Deserve’ on October 23
K-pop group BabyMonster will release the digital single ‘Deserve’ on October 23.
YG Entertainment said the song is a slow track with strong energy and powerful vocals.
The group is currently touring, with 31 shows planned across 18 cities.
BabyMonster also plans to release a new album early next year.
YG said Treasure will return with the digital single ‘Shock’ on November 2, as it begins a new phase of activity.
Two new YG groups are also being prepared: a five-member boy group and a four-member girl group.
They are expected to record demo songs by the end of the year, with debut schedules to be discussed after their title tracks are chosen.
BabyMonster will release the digital single “DESERVE” at 1 p.m. on October 23.
YG Entertainment executive producer Yang Hyun-suk announced the plan on the agency’s official blog on October 14.
Yang described the song as slow-paced but more energetic than the group’s previous releases.
He said the song combines BabyMonster’s delicate vocals and powerful singing to convey intense emotion.
The group is also due to release a new album early next year.
