Prosecutors overturn decision to investigate officer over missing jewelry
Jewelry seized from blogger Valeria Chekalina’s home in Russia has gone missing.
The items, from several luxury brands, were worth a total of 14.4 million rubles.
Interior Ministry spokeswoman Irina Volk said they were not entered as evidence and were stored improperly.
Chekalina’s lawyer said the investigator refused to return the jewelry after the investigation ended.
